Vice Chairman, China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration
Mr. Jian Danian, born in Sichuan Province in 1958, is currently the Vice Chairman of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration.
Mr. Jian Danian graduated from the College of Education at Shanghai Normal University in 1984. After graduation, he worked as a teacher and the Vice Director of the Teaching and Research Office at the university. He was transferred to the Merchants Office of Pudong New Area Economic and Trade Bureau in 1993 and left theas the Director in 1998. From 1998 to 1999, he served as the Deputy Manager of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone United Development Co., LTD. He took office as the Vice Director of the Economic and Trade Office, Vice Director of the CMC of the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, and the Vice Chairman of the Administrative Committee at the Shanghai Free Trade Zones from 1999 to 2013.
Since Sep., 2013, Mr. Jian Danian has served as the Vice Chairman of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration.
