Qiu Xin

Chairperson of the University Council, Fudan University

Qiu Xin is the Chairperson of the University Council of Fudan University. He is the Former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief of the Wenhui Daily; Former Deputy General Manager of the Wenhui Xinmin United Press Group; Former Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Deputy Director of the Jiefang Daily Newspaper Industry Group, Party Committee Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of the Jiefang Daily; Deputy Miniter of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Publicity Department, Director of Municipal Party Committee Foreign Propaganda Office (Municipal Government Information Office); Former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Shanghai Media Group (SMG); Party Secretary of CPC and Director of Shanghai United Media Group (SUMG). 

He is also the Member of the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Shanghai Municipal Committees of the Communist Party of China.
