Yu Shi is a professorand supervisor of doctoral students from the department of physics, FudanUniversity. His main research interests involve quantum mechanics, quantumfield theory, quantum information science and other fields in physics as wellas the history of science. He received his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees fromNanjing University in 1989 and 1994 and worked at Cambridge University for manyyears. In 2005, he became a professor at Fudan University.
